I’m excited! Our son, Jacob, who has been serving on a mission in Hong Kong, will be returning home in just one month. Although I’ve missed him so much, I have been very grateful for this growth experience for him. He spoke Cantonese for the majority of his mission, but for the past few months, has spoken English, while serving in the International Branch; which he has enjoyed immensely.  He says the people are humble and anxious to hear and learn about the gospel of Jesus Christ.  Jacob is a walking miracle, because prior to his mission call, he was struck with cancer. The Lord healed him and allowed him to serve this mission. Listen to my arrangement of  “I’ll Go Where You Want Me To Go” in my Free Hymn Arrangements Album.

Our wonderful, eldest son became extremely fatigued and mysteriouly ill, beginning on New Year’s Eve;  getting steadily worse for the following  6 days. He took two trips to the doctor, two trips to the hospital emergency, and underwent all kinds of tests to determine what was wrong with his body. All of the tests came out negative, and yet at one point, his entire left side became numb, and after that, he went into shock. He felt like his life was literally slipping away. Through family fasting and prayer, having his name on many temple prayer rolls, and through Priesthood blessings, (particularly the blessing of healing  his Bishop and his counselors gave him), the illness left his body, and he has regained his strength. His is the unique voice you hear singing, “Priesthood Power“. Now, more than ever, he is a witness of Priesthood power. This song is found in my Young Women/Young Men Album, as well as in Volume Two, “The Hope Of His Glory“.

Geneology Miracles

Saturday, August 8th, 2009

Please share your genealogy miracles, because miracles are happening! THIS IS SUCH AN IMPORTANT WORK! We have an Aunt, who worked in the extraction program for many years and who shared the following story about a sister, with whom she worked.

This sister had been experiencing a loss of vision and went to see her eye doctor. He announced that she was going blind, and that there was nothing they could do to reverse her situation. At the same time, she had been called to be an extraction worker. She prayed and exercised her faith ~ that if the Lord wanted her to do this work, He would help her to see clearly enough to do it. She not only was able to see clearly enough, but her vision actually improved, as she faithfully fulfilled her calling for many, many years.
