HARMONIOUS MUSIC ABOUT HOME AND FAMILY

Thursday, March 18th, 2010

Music, Sweeter Than We’ve Ever Heard”  was written especially for  my daughter Melissa’s rich, mellow voice. It is found in Volume Two, “The Hope of His Glory”. And don’t forget about “I Pray  For a Home“, for which I just added a FREE flute part.

BEARING WITNESS

Friday, January 1st, 2010

HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ONE AND ALL! May this be a year of good health, prosperity, and especially, a year of growing closer to the Lord and of greater spiritual growth than ever before. May we strive with all of our hearts to strictly keep the commandments of God ~ as our #one New Year’s resolution. Listen to A Holier People We’ll BeandTemple Blessings.

I rejoice in the blessing of being able to bear my personal witness that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of the living God! As the Book of Mormon states in Mosiah 16, verse 9: “He is the light and the life of the world; yea, a light that is endless, that can never be darkenend; yea, and also a life which is endless, that there can be no more death.”  I love the Book of Mormon! May we also commit to prayerfully read and study its pages. As a second witness of Jesus Christ, it bears witness to the world! If you haven’t been to lds.org lately, you really need to go see all of the wonderful new content. Their online Scriptures are excellent!

Volume Two: The Hope of His Glory

Saturday, November 28th, 2009

I am so excited to finally have volume two, “The Hope of His Glory“, now available. In this volume there are 16 original songs. Please take a minute to sample this volume and let me know what you think. This music has really impacted my life, because with the creation of nearly every song in this volume, I have experienced deep emotion and true inspiration; perhaps because my family is so dear to me. For instance, “Because of  The Love”, was written in one day, after the death of my beloved and saintly father. My brother, Tom, asked me to write and perform a special song for my father’s funeral. After heartfelt prayer and  serious contemplation and reflection, the melody and the words just began to flow out onto the music paper. I definitely felt “guided” to be able to fine-tune this song, tied to such tender emotions and memories. It has never been changed, since the inspiration for it first came. I can’t wait to hear stories from you. If you have any questions or comments regarding my music, please feel free to post them on my blog, and I will respond to them.
